If you have about 15 minutes for a break in your day – and you should be taking those, for your sanity – spend them by watching this lovely short animated feature, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, by William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg. It is nominated for an Academy Award this year.
The description says it is inspired, in equal measures, by Hurricane Katrina, Buster Keaton, The Wizard of Oz, and a love for books. I assume if you’ve been bold enough to become a freelancer or are considering taking the plunge, you’re a book lover, too.
